"it is only when we silent the blaring sounds of our daily existence..
that we can finally hear the whispers of truth that life reveals to us....
as it stands knocking on the doorstep of our hearts."

ReplyDeleteI'm only whispering here to tell you how wonderful this is!
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures Chrissy, that arizona landscape is magnificent - must be a great experience to listen to the silence there. So sweet the little moments you captured! I try to meditate before i start working. It helps me during the day.
ReplyDeleteTo your comment: A hen-party - that is what the british celebrate, befor a girl get married - girls have a crazy party night. Here though, it was headline to an article about rare poultry breed. I so loved this fluffy baby chick!
Chrissy, i so love that you are sharing the silent moments of beauty and truth with your kiddos. They are a lucky group!! I love the southwest soooo much - hoping to go to New Mexico in May. XOX
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a young girl my single mom would wake my siblings and I up at dawn and drive us to Sedona. We would stay all day and park along the road and walk down to the creek and have lunch. I think it's time for my kiddos to experience the beauty of Sedona.....maybe it's time to be still and silent as well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, thanks for sharing.
Have a sweet day:)
restorative, just looking at your photos. thank you.
ReplyDeletewhat an amazing place - Arizona has always been somewhere I have longed to visit (along with many many other parts of America) This looks like somewhere my husband and I would love to walk with our two dogs - far from the madding crowd!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! This actually made me cry. I think my heart is trying to tell me something. :)
ReplyDeleteOh! You got your silence! :)
ReplyDeleteI was in Sedona once. I was in Phoenix for a week for spring break and we took a day trip up to Sedona. I still remember how beautiful it was.
