venice anyone?

i.m not sure why, but in all the years i.ve been to california i never went to
venice beach!!!
it is definitely something to behold my friends.
{keep your little ones close as i give you a petite tour}
(just for the record....i hate clowns)
{my family had a hard time dragging me away from these guys
they have some serious funky talent on those four wheels}
ya gotta love cali

  7. LOVE Venice... went there a few years ago and stayed right on the promenade. So many fabulous little streets to walk along too...love your photos you captured the place perfectly! :-)

    what VANTASTIC (as my syd would say) pictures!!

    i'm not a big fan of clowns either and the one in that pic is a bit "freaky"!!

  9. My home makes it to your posts! I grew up in this area and skated with those four-wheeled entertainers on occasion. Tourists used to throw money to us and we gave it to the homeless. My parents owned their first home right down the street from where you took the pictures. We moved a few miles away to a more family oriented city once they had kids. I attribute any eclectic-ness in me to being so close to that area. It was always a bit scary there, and it seems even more scary today.

    Call me next time you are in the area, I live in between Newport and Venice now, still close to the beach.
