(better late than never i say)
trying to keep 70 toes happy while traveling 11 straight hours in a car
is an exhausting task.
is an exhausting task.
so you can imagine my relief when our s.u.v.
finally pulled into our driveway late tonight.
finally pulled into our driveway late tonight.
an overflowing mix of pillows, luggage and half eaten licorice bags went sprawling across the tile floor as i was immediately bulldozed by ava, our 1 yr. old german shepherd puppy who had all but given up hope
that we were ever going to come back for her.
that we were ever going to come back for her.
we had left our home so hastily that i hadn.t really taken the time to fully appreciate the sweet heart blessings that were delivered to us
by some of my favorite people in the world.
by some of my favorite people in the world.
but there they were on my counter waiting to put a smile
on my very tired face.
on my very tired face.
i love little people.
i love how their tiny hands wrap around fat crayons to draw
hearts and letters and scribbles.
hearts and letters and scribbles.
i love how little people want to make a different valentine for "every single person" not just a big giant one for the whole family! no sir!
i love how the simplicity of the love that little people give...
can touch even the most complex hearts.
can touch even the most complex hearts.
(i especially love three little people named abby, brock & tessa (too))
these were the best hearts to come home to!
Glad you got home safe and these hearts are so cute and simple and true.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the hearts! We miss you guys and are so glad you are home safe and sound. Can't wait to come over and see you!
